How to wash printed T-shirts and extend the print lifespan

To keep the colour and shape of your printed garment for a long time, it is important to follow simple care rules. Below you will find washing, drying and ironing instructions for Printbar products. If you plan to order a printed T-shirt, these tips will help you keep it looking new.

Washing

• Water temperature: up to 30 °C, gentle or hand wash cycle.
• Always wash garments inside out to minimise friction on the print.
• Use mild detergents without aggressive bleach or chlorine.
• Wash together with garments of similar colours to prevent colour transfer.

Do not

✗	Do not use bleach or chlorine-based detergents.
✗	Do not wash at high temperatures (above 40 °C).
✗	Do not scrub the print with a brush and do not wring the garment harshly.

Drying

• Natural air drying at room temperature is recommended.
• Do not dry printed garments on radiators, heaters or under direct sunlight.
• If possible, dry on a hanger or laid flat on a horizontal surface.

Ironing

• Iron the garment inside out at temperatures up to 110–120 °C (delicate / synthetic mode).
• Do not iron directly over the print — use a thin cotton cloth if needed.
• Avoid applying strong steam directly onto the printed area.

How to extend the life of the print

✓	Always turn printed T-shirts and hoodies inside out before washing and ironing.
✓	Store garments on hangers or neatly folded, avoiding sharp bends through the printed area.
